Summary | 0001564: Remote Debugging documentation: Sessions and XDEBUG_SESSION not clearly explained
Description | https://xdebug.org/docs/remote discusses sessions and the value of XDEBUG_SESSION, but never explains clearly what a session is. My understanding is that the value of XDEBUG_SESSION must match the number of an already existing session. It would presumably be best to add a session in the schemas of the "Communication Set-up" section. One thing particularly useful to clarify would be whether several scripts can be debugged in a single session (visibly) and whether a session can be used by several scripts at the same time.

This has all changed for Xdebug 3. If there is still some unclearness, please file a new issue. |
