Summary0000306: Restrict debug output to certain IP addresses
DescriptionWe work with live sites and it would be handy to use xdebug there too without the users noticing them. That can be done by restricting the output to be generated only if $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] is in a given array of restricted IP addresses. This could be made a config value that can be set via iniset.

Would be great to see that feature.

Besides that you really shouldn't run Xdebug in production, this sort of functionality is already implemented in firewall software. I don't think I should be replicating tricky security related filters it there is already something very capable.
