As discussed in DrupalCon Munich, it'd be superb useful to be able to check when the value 'foo' is written into a variable. Or a write into a variable contains foo.

I did look at this, ages ago. I was simply going to be so slow that it was really not usable, or, it was so unsafe as I had to read random memory addresses. So let me close this.
